Associate Copywriter & Digital Producer - Studio/B
Studio/B, the branded content studio within Boston Globe Media, is looking for a creative storyteller, skilled wordsmith, and digital producer who is passionate about bringing powerful stories to life. Studio/B is an award-winning, full-service creative studio that works with brands and agencies to develop, create, and distribute meaningful content across a variety of multimedia platforms. The Associate Copywriter & Digital Producer will act as a copy expert, creative thinker, and overseer of technical workflow on Wordpress. Collaborating with a talented and dynamic team of writers, designers, and sales professionals, they will play a critical role in bringing branded content projects to life from the ideation phase through creation of the final layout, ensuring quality at each step.

Responsibilities:
- Layout articles, graphics, and videos in WordPress
- Write the copy that drives traffic to Studio/B content
- Craft language for sales materials, newsletters, social media, and other short-form ad copy
- Troubleshoot technical problems and communicate with internal Wordpress development team
- Create JIRA tickets and follow them to make sure technical problems are resolved
- Assist with research and sourcing for content
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other creatives to continually improve Studio/B products
Qualifications:
- 1+ years professional writing / sponsored content experience
- Understanding of compelling narratives
- 1+ years technical experience in Wordpress or similar CMS
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Background in SEO research and strategy
- Ability to translate client values and communication objectives into creative content
- Ability to write and edit engaging short- and long-form copy
- Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks and team assignments
- Background in marketing copywriting
- Background in, or a passion for journalism
- Knowledge of AP style
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A willingness to adapt and be audience focused, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
