Direct-Marketing, Data Analyst

 

Lead person in driving client’s direct-marketing strategy, outlining data solutions for direct mail, e-mail and multi-channel marketing campaigns.   

Responsible for increasing client’s lead generation and response rates across all marketing platforms. Works closely with Sales team and executive officers to craft a data approach that will maximize client’s return on investment.  

Performs various data functions, including the generation of list counts and orders, geo-targeted maps, and ad-hoc and weekly analysis reports. Takes lead in conception, organization and execution of mid-year and year-end analysis reports to gauge effectiveness of marketing programs.

Must be intelligent, insightful, and able to solve complex problems with client’s marketing schedules and budgets. Must be effective with written and verbal communication. Must be comfortable presenting in front of groups, and collaborating across all departments within Globe Direct.

Position is 40 hours per week. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as lead in driving client’s data strategies
  • Envisions and establishes data mix across all marketing channels
  • Provides time-sensitive direct-mail list counts and orders, mapping projects, and analysis reports for Sales team and external clients
  • Performs database segmentation and analysis
  •  Assists other Globe Direct departments  by:
    • Entering data orders
    • Organizing client information
    • Scheduling direct-marketing  programs
    • Reconciling client marketing costs against original budgets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in data analysis, statistics or marketing
  • Experience in direct mail or direct marketing
  • Experience with lead generation
  • Strong Math and Analytic skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, with a concentration in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Skilled with database segmentation, sortation, v-lookups and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS, and Tableau a plus.
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to quickly analyze and solve problems
  • The ability to grasp the overall concept of a project as well as the details involved
  • The ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to adapt and be audience focused, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
